Privacy
Petrossian respects the privacy of our customers. No information you enter on our website will be shared with outside companies or mailing lists unless you agree to it. All personal information you enter in our database is kept for the purpose of allowing you to check your account status, and for our own internal mailing list so that you may receive notifications about your account or special promotions that Petrossian is offering.

A Word about Cookies
Petrossian's website features cookie technology. A cookie is a small file that is placed on your computer so that while you are logged into the site, you can save different items in your shopping cart. The cookie expires once you have left the site or closed your browser.
Note: Your shopping cart items will not be saved unless you are logged in.

Security
All credit card transactions are handled using SSL (Secure Socket Layers) and Thawte to guarantee the security of your personal information. To check if you are on a secure site, make sure that the URL in the address bar starts with https://www.petrossian.com. This will be the case at the time of checkout to protect your personal information.

Returns and Exchanges
All merchandise is guaranteed to be fresh and should be inspected immediately upon arrival. Credit will not be granted if unsatisfactory items are discarded or partially consumed. Please keep all packaging intact for returns. All claims must be made within twenty-four hours of receipt of shipment and a return authorization code will be issued. No returns will be accepted without this code. Once claim is received and accepted by Petrossian, we will automatically reship merchandise. Please keep all packaging intact for any returns.

Sales Tax
All Petrossian's perishable goods are tax-free with the exception of chocolates, candies, and table service items, which are subject to a state sales tax that varies by jurisdiction.


Gift Orders
Petrossian now offers the added features of a gift card and gift wrapping for any item you order. When ordering, you will be prompted whether would like these services. Addresses for your gift recipients can be stored in your online account address book for future shipping reference. You can edit this information at any time by logging into your account.

Gift Cards
Gift cards may be up to 150 characters long.

Gift Certificates
Paper gift certificates are available for sale through our web site. Petrossian gift certificates may now be redeemed through our website, they are internal validated by Petrossian before being credited for the order. 

To order a gift certificate:
You may order a gift certificate just as you would any other gift item from our web site. The minimum amount of a gift certificate is $25. A paper gift certificate will be mailed to the recipient return receipt at no added expense.

To redeem a gift certificate:
You will be asked to redeem your gift certificate on the cart detail page when checking out.  To redeem a gift certificate for catalog or online products, please call 1-800-828-9241. In both cases, you are asked to provide a credit card number and we ask that you please mail in your gift certificate within 14 days of your order. If we do not receive your gift certificate within that time frame, your credit card will be charged.

Gift certificates are directly redeemable through our catalog, restaurant, and boutique. 

Gift certificates must be redeemed in their full amount or more.

Gift Certificates are redeemable only at Petrossian owned and operated facilities.

Shipping

Charges

Any order containing perishable products (e.g. caviar, smoked salmon, foie gras) will be shipped via FedEx Priority Overnight for $35 per shipping address. NOTE: Items shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico will have an extra $15 charge.

Orders containing ONLY semi-perishable products (e.g. chocolate and bakery items) can be shipped via FedEx Second Day Air for $23 per shipping address or FedEx Third Day for $19 per shipping address.

Orders containing ONLY non-perishable products can be shipped via FedEx Second Day Air for $23 per shipping address, FedEx Third Day for $19 per shipping address, or FedEx Ground for $15 per shipping address.

Manhattan orders can be delivered by Petrossian for $20 per shipping address.

Any order (including Manhattan) can be delivered on Saturday via FedEx Saturday Delivery for $50 per shipping address.

Delivery Requirements

Due to the perishable nature of our products, we cannot deliver to P.O. boxes under any circumstances.

FedEx requires a signature for all deliveries and will not leave a package without one. If you would like FedEx to leave the package without a signature, please be sure to check the "Permission to leave package without signature" box below where you choose the delivery date.

Orders must be placed before 13:45 EST to be processed for next day delivery. All orders received after 13:45 will be processed the next business day. Changes or cancellations to orders must be placed at least 2 days in advance of the receipt date, and may be made only by telephone.

Due to shipping limitations, we are unable to ship packages for delivery on the following holidays or the day thereafter: New Year's Day, President's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas. We are also unable to ship perishable goods on all Mondays.


About Your Order
You must supply a daytime phone number to insure that Federal Express and Petrossian can make the delivery. Sorry, we cannot ship C.O.D. or to a post office box. All orders paid by check will not be processed until the check clears (please allow 10 business days).

You will be informed of any delay in completing your order. Out-of-stock items may be substituted with items of equal or greater value.

If you place an order today for next day delivery, we must receive your order by 13:45 EST.
